Memories to Last a Lifetime
Leen from Jordan, Summer Semester 2024
Hello! My name is Leen Husein, I am 21 years old and I am from Jordan. I am currently doing my exchange semester at the RheinAhrCampus in Remagen, Germany. And I would like to share my wonderful experiences in this beautiful city and university.
When I first arrived in Remagen, I was amazed by how cozy and charming the city is. Five days after my arrival, I went to the university for my first day. It was a bit strange because I did not know anyone and felt lonely and homesick. However, as I spent more time here, I realized how beautiful Remagen is and how kind the people are. This helped me settle in and start enjoying my new environment.
Studying at RheinAhrCampus has been fantastic. The professors here are very helpful, and the courses are interesting and fun. I am very happy with my studies and the support I receive from the faculty. It has been a great learning experience.
Being in Remagen has helped me grow a lot. I have become more confident and better at meeting new people. The friendly nature of the locals has made it easy for me and made me feel at home here.
Remagen has many lovely restaurants and places to visit, and you can also eat the yummiest ice cream here. During my stay, I traveled to amazing places like Luxembourg and Paris. These trips have given me a chance to experience different cultures and enjoy beautiful sights. I also go shopping weekly at the beautiful shopping places near Remagen, such as Bonn and Cologne, which has made my life here more enjoyable.
Overall, my time in Remagen has been incredibly positive. I highly recommend this city and RheinAhrCampus to anyone thinking about studying abroad. The combination of a welcoming community and a supportive university has made my exchange semester unforgettable. I haven't had any bad moments here, and I am grateful for every day in this wonderful place.
