Professor for Digitalization and Artificial Intelligence in Social Work and Childhood Education

The following professorship is to be filled in the department Social Sciences at the location Koblenz as soon as possible:
Professor (f/m/d)
for Digitalization and Artificial Intelligence in Social Work and Childhood Education
(Base Salary: W 2)
Part-time employment is possible.
Your tasks:
• Representation of teaching (in German and English) in the subject areas Social Work and Child-hood Education and the study programmes of the department Social Sciences
• Establishment of a research profile as well as national and international research activities incl. publications
• Networking with regional cooperation partners (companies, associations, etc.)
• Participation in academic self-administration
Your profile:
• Professional expertise in the teaching area
• Effects of digitalisation and AI in social work and childhood education
• Application and use of digital technologies for the innovative further development of the field of work
• Several years of relevant professional experience, ideally leadership experience
• Enthusiasm for working with young people and their development
• Openness for the further development and implementation of innovative teaching concepts
• Openness to taking on new teaching content within the framework of the long-term, strategic and, if necessary, interdisciplinary further development of the range of courses offered
• High social competence in dealing with students, colleagues and employees
• Good German skills (minimum C1-level) and good English skills
The hiring requirements for professorships result from § 49 of the Higher Education Act of Rhineland-Palatinate (HochSchG).
