How to apply
In order to study at our university, you need to have a university entrance qualification, which proves that you have graduated school with a certificate equal to the German “Abitur”. In most cases, you must have studied at a recognized university (website in German only) in your home country or attend a German Studienkolleg in Germany before you begin your studies. If you want to apply for a Master’s course, you must have a Bachelor’s degree or a certificate equal to it in your chosen course or a similar one.
Process and deadlines
The Bachelor and Master courses begin in both the winter and summer semesters. All students who did not eceive their university entrance qualification in Germany or at a school with the German Abitur Examination should apply for the university via uni-assist. International student applicants who have a certificate for an assessment test (German: Feststellungsprüfung) at a German Studienkolleg should apply via the Koblenz University of Applied Sciences’ online-portal. The same applies for exchange students from any of our partner universities.
Last application deadline for the summer semester (Semester begins at the end of March/ beginning of April)
- December 15 local admisson restricted study courses for those applying via uni-assist and/or the Koblenz University of Applied Sciences’ online-portal
- January 31 local admisson non restricted study courses for those applying via uni-assist and/or the Koblenz University of Applied Sciences’ online-portal

Semester fee
All students need to pay a semi-annual semester fee that is about 220€.
