Grown so much in 6 months!

I had the best time of my life. It’s true when everyone says Erasmus changes you as a person. In these 6 months I feel like I’ve grown and learned so much, it definitely shaped me into becoming someone better, into becoming the person I really want to be.

I have nothing bad to say towards the Sprachen/Internationales. Everyone was always very nice and extremely helpful. Even before my arrival, they were super concerned about making all the arrangements for my arrival, like finding a place for me to say, and even after that, every little problem I had, I knew I could always go to them for help. The university itself is very good. Everything is very accessible and, even though all the services are in German, you can always find someone to help you. Also, all the teachers were very helpful towards us internationals, and the German students as well.

The only thing I have to point out is that the university should be clearer when it comes to the location of RheinAhrCampus. In my destinations list, when I was choosing where I wanted to go, it said Koblenz, not Remagen, and I only really realized I was coming here halfway through the paperwork. Don’t get me wrong, the town is amazing, very beautiful and cozy, but I just feel like there should be no doubts regarding this. Besides, I feel like I’ve gotten to know a lot more people than I would if it was a bigger city, and it helped me become a lot closer to them as well.

I’m very sad about leaving, and I kind of miss it already, but I know I leave this place with a lot more knowledge than when I came, and with a new and international group of friends who I know I can count on for the rest of my life.
