Attractive campus, interesting work and great friends
Aneta Przewozna from Olsztyn, Poland, Winter Semester 2007/2008
Remagen is a small town near Bonn, which I find very attractive to study, and where I spent an Erasmus exchange semester from September 2007 to February 2008. I was accommodated in the student dormitory, modern and well-equipped, providing everything that a student might need. During the semester I experienced constant care through the International Office. Everyone was very helpful and quickly prepared all the documents that were necessary.
I have never made so many friends before as I did in Remagen. Together with my friends, international students Emma and Agnes, I attended the intensive German language course in Koblenz, where we met many other exchange students. When the lectures began, I realized how helpful this course was. During my semester, I met all sort of lecturers, and most of them were intelligent, knowledgeable and stimulating.
And at the end of the semester I took part in a 14-day-excursion to Ireland as part of the course "International Business Simulations", lead by Dr. Borgmann. There I met a lot of other international students, from Lithuania, Ireland, England and Denmark. We all did a lot of interesting work and enjoyed the traditional Irish way of relaxing. At the end we were all so sad to have to say good-bye to each other. However, our bonds are still strong and we are all looking forward to seeing each other again during the next holiday.
Best regards from Poland
