As a regional research centre for services and innovation, the RheinAhrCampus is not only committed to teaching, but also to the technology transfer between university and industry/service providers.
Thus, RheinAhrCampus supports external partners in solving their practical problems by suggesting innovative solutions; students are involved in development projects, and the university can develop further areas of applied knowledge.
The modern technical infrastructure facilitates interesting research and development projects with industrial and public institutions as project partners.
- Special innovation facilities on campus can be fitted out together with project partners so that ideas can be jointly developed into marketable commodities.
- Students, staff members and local companies have access to modern information media and worldwide data bases on the RheinAhrCampus (Transmission of Information).
- New innovative potential is initiated through cooperation with international partners, regional technical transfer authorities, the scientific institutions around Bonn, and other institutions of tertiary education in Northern Rhineland-Palatinate.
The Office for Knowledge Transfer helps to facilitate the cooperation with external partners.
