Our research about success factors in the industry-startup collaboration began in 2019. We were driven by real-life firm needs that approached us persistently. After studying the contingencies that shape successful ties between firms, we started developing and testing an applicable tool for firms so they can detect their own collaboration deficiencies: The MIC Canvas.
