Your university ID is not just a photo ID card. It can also be used to make cashless payments on campus (e.g. canteen, photocopying and printing services), it is your library card, your semester ticket travel pass (except for distance learning students) and it entitles you to enter university buildings.
You apply for your student ID card when you enrol at the university and can collect your card from Student Services. If you lose your student ID, please contact our student services team.
Student Services is your contact point for re-enrolment, requesting leave of absence, de-registration, transferring to a different degree programme, information about important dates and deadlines, as well as all the relevant forms you need to complete.
Every semester, you will receive an email from our student services team via your university email address with a request to re-enrol and pay your enrolment fee for the semester.
The kompetentdurchsstudium team will support you in overcoming personal challenges in the new digital world of higher education and help you to develop key skills for your future career.
Our OpenOlat course, #kompetentdurchsstudium, enables you to access many semesterFIT courses free of charge. We offer a range of online courses focusing on key competences and also provide additional digital support through our blog, information for new students and our extensive self-study resources.
