Remagen is a great place for sports lovers. An open-air swimming pool and a tennis centre are located right next to the campus. Of course, there is also the on-site multi-beach court – a perfect place to play beach volleyball or beach football in summer.

The AstA sport programme caters to all needs: running, basketball, volleyball, tennis, badminton, table tennis, karate, kickboxing and much more. Every semester, students can take advantage of an extensive range of sports activities free of charge. If your favourite sport is not on offer, get in touch with the AStA student committee – they are always open to suggestions! In addition, the university sports centre in Koblenz offers all kinds of sports activities for students.

There are numerous cycle paths throughout the region. The proximity of the Rhine, Ahr and Moselle rivers means that there are also plenty of places to do water sports. Remagen has a modern marina, a stud farm with riding stables and the Rheinhalle indoor arena for sports such as handball. Remagen's chess club is in Germany's first division chess league. So there is something for everyone.
