The Scientific Management of the Graduate Centre consists of two professors of the university. They work in close cooperation with the Office Manager regarding the main tasks of the Graduate Centre, discussing all major topics and strategic questions related to the graduate centre in regular meetings.

- Prof. Dr. Silke Rathgeber (University of Koblenz)
- Two PhD representatives:
- Gesina Glodek (Construction – Art – Materials)
- Isabell Göbel (Business and Management)
The Scientific Advisory Board consists of professors representing all six faculties of the university as two professors of cooperating universities and two PhD representatives. The board discusses major strategic decisions related to young researchers and their supervisors and addresses the university administration on special issues. The Scientific Advisory Board holds at least one meeting a year.
