The Transfer Office
Transfer of science to the corporate world and society
With approximately 10,000 students, Koblenz University of Applied Sciences is the largest university of applied sciences in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. In addition to practice-oriented research and teaching, we are committed to transferring the results and knowledge generated in science to the economy and society. Across six departments and three locations - Koblenz, Remagen, and Höhr-Grenzhausen - our scientists engage in interdisciplinary research in three major research areas, covering topics in both natural sciences and social sciences.
The transfer of ideas, knowledge, and technology forms the basis of an innovative economy and strengthens the innovation landscape of Rhineland-Palatinate. It is crucial to integrate all sectors of society. At Koblenz University of Applied Sciences, transfer is a two-way process, involving not only the application of scientific findings to practice but also the transfer of practical questions and impulses to the scientific community.
