ERASMUS+ Funding for Internships
Hochschule Koblenz/Koblenz University of Applied Science is part of the consortium a.i.m. rlp (Agency for international mobility for higher education Rhineland-Palatinate) located at Hochschule Trier when funding internships with ERASMUS+. Students can benfit from our colleague's experience in the field. They will be happy to support our students when planning an internship abroad! Requirements
· Enrolled at point of Application
· Period between 60 and 360 days (multiple funding periods possible!)
· Full-time internship (according to working hours by law in your host country)
· short-term interships „blended mobility“ (5-30 days abroad + virtual component)
Country Groups
· Group 1: Denmark, Finland, Ireland, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Luxemburg, Norway, Sweden, United Kingdom, Oversea Territories
· Group 2: Belgium, France, Greece, Italy, Malta, Netherlands, Austria, Portugal, Spain, Cyprus, Oversea Territories
· Group 3: Bulgaria, Republic of Macedonia, Estonia, Croatia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Romania, Slowakoa, Slowenia, Czech Republic, Turkey, Hungary, Serbia
Funding: (if paid internship: monthly income below 1.400,00 €):
· Group 1: 555 € per month
· Group 2: 495 € per month
· Group 3: 435 € per month
Albanien und other partner countriesr: 700,- per month + travel allowance

Practical elements of Thesis
The Internship can be completed within a company or any institution (e. g. NGO's) within the European Union and their associated countries. An Internship cannot be done with EU member organisations or Organisations administrating EU programs on a general level.
Bafög:
Students can apply for Bafög regarding their internshop abroad, if it is a mandatory internship with a duration of at least 3 months. According to § 21 Abs. 3 Nr. 2 Bafög (Student Loan Act) scholarships with a monthly average above 300,00 € will be viewed as income and taken into account.
Recognition
Please make sure to address all requests regarding recogntion for your internship to the contact person at your specific department.
Internship after Graduation
When applying online for an ERASMUS+ internship funding while still being a student, you will have the opportunity to actually enter your internship up to 12 months after your graduation!
