Required Application Documents
Here you will find information on the application and enrollment documents.
As part of your online application or enrollment, you must upload all required documents to the application portal.
Please note that we can only accept the documents in PDF format.
You can check your processing status at any time after your application in the applicant portal at www.icms.hs-koblenz.de.
Required Application Documents
As part of the application process, you must upload the following documents to the application portal:
- Up-to-date, complete and signed curriculum vitae in tabular form
- Certificate of completed military service, civilian service or federal voluntary service in Germany (if available)
- Higher education entrance qualification
Applicants with previous studies should also upload the following documents:
- Proof of previous academic achievements (passed and failed courses)
- If available: Bachelor's/Master's certificate and diploma
- Proof of (previous) periods of study (e.g. study certificates), or if already available:
- Exmatriculation certificates from all previous universities
Program-specific application documents
Some degree programs at Koblenz University of Applied Sciences require further documents in addition to those listed above.

Applicants for dual study programs must also submit the following document:
Transfer Data
As part of your online enrollment, you must pay your semester fee and upload a transfer receipt in the application portal. Please be sure to transfer the semester fee with your applicant number. You can find these in the application portal.

The semester fee includes a fee of € 18 for issuing a university ID card.
If you already have a university card from Koblenz University of Applied Sciences (Campus: Koblenz, Remagen, Höhr-Grenzhausen), the card fee does not apply. In this case, please transfer € 18 less.
Enrollment
In addition to the application documents mentioned above, the following documents are also required for enrollment:

Notification of health insurance
We require a electronic notification of your health insurance status from your health insurance company by the time of your enrollment. To speed up your enrollment at the university, you can apply for electronic notification of your health insurance now. Please contact your health insurance company in good time and give them our sender number "H 000 24 34". Your health insurance company will then send us the required notification electronically.
If you have private health insurance, please apply for an "exemption from health insurance" from a public health insurance company of your choice, also stating the sender number of Koblenz University of Applied Sciences.
The public health insurance company will then send us all relevant data.
